Can Valentines Day Be More Than Candy Hearts?

We have all heard people grumble about Valentines Day as, "Just another opportunity for Hallmark to take your money." Please allow us to challenge you in your thinking because Valentines Day is an opportunity for you to do something meaningful for your spouse. Further, when you're married, you never want to miss a chance to do something meaningful! Anyone who has been married for more than a year or two knows very well what it looks like when the honeymoon becomes a distant memory and life (with all of it's challenges) kicks in. You Think You Know What Love is, but You Don't

There is a feeling I get whenever things are dialed in between Tami and I. It is a feeling of wholeness, of being complete, of being cared for and needed by another human. And it is pure unadulterated bliss! I have desired this bliss for my children and friends as well, since with it, you can do anything! How Going to a Wedding Can Strengthen Your Marriage

Tami and I have been to several weddings in the last few weeks. This has us thinking a lot about how each of us is impacted by attending a wedding. This is the kind of issue that Tami and I just love because it forces us to communicate our healthy marriage message as clearly as possible and allows us to meet you right where you are with your questions. All of this makes it worthwhile for us to dig into this topic a bit deeper and work through a few details…

You Can Foster Ongoing Passion in Marriage!

We recently took a trip to Chelan, Washington with some friends. While there, we attended a special dinner event at Siren Song Wines. The event featured some great Spanish-influenced wines as well as some amazing food including Spanish Paella. As if great food and wine were not enough, we enjoyed some authentic Flamenco dancing while at the event too. The dancing was really incredible! It was a really fun date night. While having dinner, the four of us sat directly in front of a fireplace that had a profoundly interesting piece of art hanging above it. As two happily married couples that have seen our share of unhappy marriages over the years…
